Is Life Coming To An End As We know It?

My wife sent me an article titled WILL A FINANCIAL CRISIS BE THE TRIGGER FOR THE RISE OF THE ANTICHRIST? It was presented by an organization called PROPHECY NEWS WATCH. Without reading the article, I responded by jotting down my own thoughts on the matter and included several Bible verses to support my thinking. When finished, and after sending her my exhaustive treatise, I wished that I had read that article first.

That article starts off with a very ominous warning as such: “As the global economy wrestles with rising fuel and food prices, several financial executives have warned of further trouble ahead. In early June, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon warned of trouble in the weeks and months to come, comparing the current financial landscape to the time just before a hurricane hits. It’s a hurricane,” he said. “Right now, it’s kind of sunny, things are doing fine, everyone thinks the Fed can handle this. That hurricane is right out there, down the road, coming our way. We just don’t know if it’s a minor one or Superstorm Sandy or Andrew or something like that. You better brace yourself.”

Needless to say, I was concerned that this story was just another bit of prophetical overkill that has been passed down through the ages predicting the end of time and validating Biblical precepts. But after reading the initial part of the storyline, I soon became enthralled by the possibilities presented. And some frightening concepts came to light.

The Setting For The Road To Ruin

The article goes on to state: “All the world’s major economies use fiat currencies, meaning nothing backs their currencies except faith in the governments behind them. Central banks, such as the Federal Reserve, oversee monetary policy, and their policies have brought us one crisis after another.” 

“The COVID economy stayed alive because of unprecedented policy actions. Zero percent interest rates with central banks buying corporate bonds, junk bonds, and government bonds. Stimulus checks, enhanced child tax credits, rent/mortgage moratoriums, PPP loans, and student loan deferments. Almost all of these things have come to an end, and now rising prices for food and fuel are wreaking havoc on the global economy.”

“Decades of foolish policies have put central bankers in a no-win situation. Since COVID, it’s only gotten worse. In an effort to avoid a lockdown-induced depression, central bankers and politicians flooded the world with trillions of dollars in new currency… at some point, as conditions tighten, everything will crash. Right now, inflation is the world’s great menace. Stopping it is priority number one. All that will quickly change when the crash comes.”

A Frightening Scenario 

Then the article turns the screws by stating: “The end result should come as no surprise. Home sales have come to a near screeching halt. If this continues, expect a huge downturn in the housing market. As if a simultaneous bursting bubble in stocks, bonds, and real estate weren’t enough, they pale in comparison to another bubble about to burst the derivatives market.”

So What Does All This Mean?

Finally, the well written article brings its conclusions to a head by stating: “It means a major economic crisis is on the horizon. It may be the worst global economic crisis ever – worse than the Great Depression. In times of chaos and economic instability, dangerous political leaders and demagogues capture the public imagination. Past economic crises led to the rise of Napoleon, the launch of the Bolshevik Revolution, and the consolidation of German state power in the hands off Adolph Hitler. All these events had grave consequences for the entire world, not just the individual nations in question. Why should we believe this time will be any different? We shouldn’t.”

“Once the world experiences a massive inflationary spiral, the current monetary system (in place since 1971) will come to an end. A new monetary system will rise from the ashes. What will it look like? We don’t know for sure. But in all likelihood, it will be built upon some sort of digital currency system (or similarly created platform). Central banks openly discuss their plans to replace national currencies with new cryptocurrencies, giving their governments unprecedented power. With such power, not only will compliant governments be able to track everything you buy or sell, it will be able to kick you out of the economic system – just as the Bible says.”

“If government cryptocurrencies replace paper currencies, individual freedom and liberty will disappear. Governments will be able to “turn off” an individual’s cryptocurrency. That means if you do something the government doesn’t approve of, they’ll be able to shut down your ability to buy and sell.” 

In a companion article called The Currency Reset Is Coming – 90% Of Nations Planning Digital Currency, the following statements are noted: “A new report from the Bank for International Settlements estimates that up to 90% of national central banks are at least in the planning stages for launching a central bank digital currency (CBDC): Nine out of 10 central banks are exploring central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and more than half are now developing them or running experimental testing programs. In particular, work on retail CBDCs has moved to more advanced stages. This echoes a March report from the IMF, which claimed over one hundred nations are at least in the planning stages of releasing their own CBDC.“ BY Kit Knightly/ACTIVIST POST/ MAY 10, 2022

“The Canadian government already showed its willingness to implement monetary controls when it cut off financial access to anyone who supported the Canadian trucker protest. And this type of action is precisely what the Bible says will happen in the end times. The Antichrist will establish a global system of commerce. His system will play a part in every economic transaction on earth. It will be so dominant, no one will be able to buy or sell anything without the Antichrist’s approval (Revelation 13:17).”

"And it was given unto him (The Beast, a.k.a. The Antichrist) to make war with the saints (Believers in the Lord, Jesus Christ), and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." Revelation 13:7

So, What Does The Bible Say About All Of This?

To Wit:

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” Revelation 13:3

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (666).” Revelation 13:15-18

In another article I found in Crosswalk.com called “Is the RFID Chip the Mark of the Beast?“, the author, Dr. Roger Barrier, states: “The RFID (Radio-Frequency IDentification) chip is nothing new. It’s been around for many years. It’s just now coming into prominence as technology catches up to its possibilities. The RFID chip, which is the size of a grain of rice, is inserted directly under the skin. It takes the place of a barcode or the magnetic strip at the back of a credit card (as well as a number of other things). Eventually, many stores, especially grocery stores, will be wired to allow “chipped” buyers to fill their carts and simply walk out the door–all conveniently paid for by that tiny code transmitter inside the customer’s body. In the financial arena, there will be no need to carry around any cash, credit, or debit cards. Already, very few transactions require cash. In fact, Apple CEO, Tim Cook, predicts that the next generation of children will not know what money is.” By Dr. Roger Barrier, Preach it, Teach it, July 25th, 2017

Jesus Christ, in the Bible’s Book of Matthew, states: “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” Matthew 24:5-7 

My Thoughts On The Matter

The part of the article that really grabbed my attention was the prediction of the worldwide conversion of all fiat monies into a universal cryptocurrency that would allow a powerful dictatorial governing entity to track all expenses of each individual on earth. If said buying power was controlled by a microchip inserted into each persons body, that “666” style Mark of the Beast scenario would definitely signal the end of life as we know it.

The trouble with any one governing body controlling someone’s life with an electronically created currency system is that any mismanagement of the data or mistakes by monetary personnel will likely result in peoples fiduciary accounts being shut down through no fault of their own. Multiply that by millions of corrupted accounts and an innumerable number individuals will have no access to funds at all. That will result in a chaotic series of events which will result in starvation, homelessness, riots, and finally death.

Through all of this, the Beast, a.k.a the Antichrist, won’t care or show one iota of compassion. All individuals will be an expendable number in a digital data bank. Since that Monstrous Entity in question will be controlled by Satan, a being who cares about no one but himself, the earth will be converted into a hellish planet with everyone fighting for survival. Any of the doomsday documentaries produced by sensationalist bent media moguls will be mild in comparison.

A Final Viewpoint

Along with the frightening scenario outlined above, the Bible emphatically states that: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone (Hell): which is the second death.” Romans 21:8

The true Christian who sincerely believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, is also God in the flesh as part of the Holy Trinity which includes God the Father and the Holy Spirit as set forth in the Holy Bible, and accepts Him as his or her personal Savior, will escape Satan’s wrath on earth and receive eternal life in Heaven. The fire and brimstone that ushers in the second death of Hell will become the final stomping ground of everyone else.

As far as analogies go, the heathen can look at it this way. He or she stands a 50/50 chance of being right. If there is no God or a place called Hell, one dies and simply fades away. If everything about the final torment is true, then eternal damnation will be that person’s reward.

On the other hand, the true Christian wins either way: Simply dies and fades away, or receives the final reward and spends eternity in Heaven with the Savior, Jesus Christ. In fact, said true Christian may not even have to die to get there. But that is another story.

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17
